2021 Terms and Conditions

Venue
The Tap Room at Hilden Brewery aims to offer exclusive use of the venue as long as the numbers are 80 or over. The maximum number for the function room (Malt Store) is 116, for the Tap Room 120 and for the Tipi Tents in the garden 200. Nothing may be fixed to the walls, ceilings or floors of any room by nails, screws, drawing pins, tape or other means without prior approval. The following must be strictly adhered to: No smoking indoors including the Tipis tents, no confetti and no party poppers.

Timings
The bar closes at 12.30am or earlier. Please note if bar facilities are not being used management reserves the right to close the bar earlier.
Closing time for The Tap Room and any relating sites is 1.00am. Music must finish at 12.45pm in The Tap Room and 12 midnight in the Tipis or outside.
Everyone is to have vacated the site by 1.30am or earlier. The above times must be strictly adhered to, unless by special previous arrangement with management.
For every ½ hour or part there of that people remain on site £100 will be added to the couple’s bill. Children are permitted on site no later than 9pm.

Booking and Payment Terms
On confirmation: £800 deposit. This is non refundable in the event of cancellation, in certain circumstances it may be transferable (including Covid-19). This confirms your booking until full payment is made and will then be held against damages or breakages which may occur during your event. It will be returned in full after the event when all payment is received and subject to the above.
1 month prior to the event a further payment of 50 % of approximate costs is due. Full and final payment should be made no later than the day following the event.

Charges
The pricing structure is subject to periodic review and may differ from charges quoted upon initial enquiry. A discretionary 10% service charge will be added to your food bill.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation must be confirmed to the Company in writing.
In the unfortunate circumstances that you may need to cancel your booking, the costs are as follows.
•   Cancellation from date of booking up to 6 months before the wedding 100% of deposit.
•   Cancellation from 6-3 months before the wedding 100% of deposit plus 10% of estimated bill.
•   Cancellation 3-1 month before the wedding 100% of deposit plus 25% of estimated bill.
•   Cancellation 1 month – 2 weeks before the event date 100% of deposit + 50 % estimated bill.
•   Cancellation less than 1 week before the event date 100% of deposit + 75% of estimated bill.
Weddings are expensive and for this reason we recommend wedding insurance.

Transport
Due to the location of the Tap Room at Hilden Brewery it is strongly recommended that transport from the venue at the end of the event is organised in advance. We can assist with this if required in advance.
It is the couples responsibility to have everyone off site by 1.30am at the latest.

Car Parking
If car parking is required please give an estimation of vehicle numbers in advance. All vehicles are left at own risk. Vehicles may be left overnight only with authority from management.

Alcohol
The premises are fully licensed and as such the couple should ensure that their guests do not bring alcohol onto the premises. The management reserves the rights to withhold the deposit if it appears that this rule has been broken.

Chairs and Tables
The company has enough tables and chairs for both the Malt Store and The Tap Room however, for the Tipis additional tables and chairs will be required if seating more than 100.

If two or more persons are named on the Booking Form the liability is joint and several. This means that each person can be held fully responsible for all the responsibilities under this Contract.
