[ale_one_half]If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world
An Irish “session” is a gathering of musicians for the purpose of playing music together and enjoying the craic. Playing in a good session can be fun, invaluable playing experience, and a great chance to improve your music – all at the same time.
At the Tap Room, there will always be a warm welcome for musicians, singers and listeners alike. Under the guidance of renowned piano accordion player Sean Quinn, the music kicks off every Wednesday evening from 7pm. The session welcomes all musicians from beginner to advanced level and all we ask is that you give it a go.
Good food, real ale, and plenty of traditional music and singing with an atmosphere all of its own – What more could you ask for?
THE SESSION WILL BE TAKING A BREAK FOR JANUARY – WE’LL KEEP YOU POSTED WHEN THEY’RE BACK!
